A.S. Faust School Principal

In my new role as principal at Faust School, I am eager to work with the exceptional staff to continue to strive for academic excellence for all of our students through high quality teaching, learning and community involvement. With more than twenty years of teaching experience, the last twelve of which is in East Rutherford, I am committed to involving everyone in the creation of a proud and productive school community.

To give you a little insight into my background, I am a graduate of Arkansas State University with a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Special Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education. During my tenure in East Rutherford, I received the New Jersey Governor’s Teacher of the Year Award and served on several district committees including curriculum revision, school improvement, project graduation and Intervention and referral services. I am currently a trustee on the Saddle Brook Board of Education, a member of the New Jersey School Board Association and a member of the East Rutherford Parent Teacher Association. I am also the liaison to the Mayor’s Youth Group in Saddle Brook and have experience coaching baseball, softball and soccer.

I look forward to continuing our goal to ensure that all learners have the opportunity to succeed. I encourage differentiated instruction, varied assessment methods, and a data driven approach that is tailored to meet the individual needs of each and every student. I promote staff development to further the outstanding talents of our teachers and support staff. Our goal is to prepare our students to succeed in our world and in their future endeavors.
