CHILD FIND
Project Child Find is a free referral service and public awareness campaign to assist in the identification of children with a delay or disability from birth through 21 years of age. It also develops and distributes information to the public about early intervention services and special education programs throughout New Jersey.

The East Rutherford School District’s Child Study Team maintains Child Find procedures to locate and provide services for those children ages 3 to 5 who may present with developmental or learning difficulties which may limit their success in school. All assistance is free, professional, and confidential.
In order to assist parents, a request for a full Child Study Team evaluation can be made through the Student Services Department by submitting a written request with concerns to the Child Study Team.
