WHEREAS, The Open Public Meetings Act requires notice of regularly scheduled meetings within several days following the Annual Organization Meeting of the Board which was held on January 08, 2026.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the regular meetings of the East Rutherford Board of Education will be held at the Board of Education Building located at 250 Grove Street, East Rutherford, NJ 07073.  Action may or may not be taken at these scheduled meetings: 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the East Rutherford Board of Education in compliance with Chapter 231, Public Laws of 1975, authorizes the Board Secretary to post a copy of the above schedule of meetings at the East Rutherford Borough Hall and to advertise these meeting dates in the official newspapers of the East Rutherford Board of Education.

• Meetings are subject to change, formal action may or may not be taken at the foregoing          meetings.  

• The Board of Education reserves the right to hold an executive session at each of these meetings to discuss matters as permitted in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act.

 • Special meetings of the East Rutherford Board of Education may be held from time to time at a place to be designated. Prior notice as required by the Open Public Meetings Act shall be given when special meetings are scheduled.  

• This notice and any notices of special meetings shall be posted on the district’s website – www.erboe.net  and on a bulletin board in the central offices and shall be sent to the offices of the Borough Hall, Police Department and Public Library to be posted in a place reserved for such notices.  

• Copies of proposed agendas of the regular meetings and/or special meetings shall be posted in accordance with the item above, at least forty-eight hours in advance of the scheduled meetings. Any revisions to the agendas shall be posted as soon thereafter as possible and will remain posted until after the meeting.  

• The Board Secretary shall ensure compliance with appropriate mandates of the Open Public Meetings Act.  

• The Board reserves the right to conduct business at Workshop Meetings.
