As the East Rutherford School District continues to move in a paperless direction in its home-school communications. We are launching a Virtual Backpack to replace its weekly dispatches of flyers, notices and other information of interest to parents and guardians.
An online clearinghouse of information, the Virtual Backpack will carry all of the school notices, PTA and community flyers, and other important materials and information.How it works: You will receive a weekly email reminder to check the virtual backpack, with a link that will give you direct access to the virtual backpack, for any important updates or information. The Virtual Backpack can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Virtual Backpack, will be divided into five sections, McKenzie School, Lincoln School Faust School, PTA and Community Updates, and can be accessed by clicking on a specific section on the left of this page. Contents will be added on an ongoing basis.
Please note:
- If you are not able to access information on-line, please contact your child's school so that we can provide you with paper copies.
- Any document that requires a signature will be sent home through your child’s backpack.
