• MOBILE APP INFORMATION

    The East Rutherford School District utilizes a mobile district-wide mobile communications application. The district’s official mobile app enables smartphone and tablet users to keep track of important district information and receive emergency notices from the district and schools via push notifications. The free mobile app, will help parents and community members stay on top of what matters most. 

    The use of the mobile app for the East Rutherford School District is an example of our commitment to take advantage of current technology for the purpose of providing parents and community members all of the district’s information conveniently and easily, and making it more accessible than ever.

    The East Rutherford School District App will provide members of the schools and community, a quick and efficient way to stay connected anytime, anywhere with access to school announcements, upcoming events, lunch menus, breaking news, and more from your smart phone or tablet. Individual users will also have the ability to control the settings to receive information from only those schools they care about. The school district app provides much of the same information available on the website, but in a more user-friendly format for smartphones. The app also will send push notifications for school closings, delayed openings and emergency messages.

    In addition, our district app will also continue to evolve based on stakeholders needs, and we will continue to add new content over time.  We look forward to receiving feedback in the months ahead and invite members of the school community to contact us with new ideas.

    The East Rutherford School District’s app is free and compatible with Apple or Android phones. The App is available for download in the App Store or Google Play Store by searching for us by name – East Rutherford School District or ER School District.
