Lincoln School Principal, Supervisor of Instruction and Technology

To the East Rutherford Community,

It is with sincere honor that I write to you to express my excitement in joining the East Rutherford School District as the Supervisor of Instruction and Technology.  I come to serve this community with over ten years of experience in North Jersey public schools, and I look forward to demonstrating all that I have to offer to our school district.

Now, a little bit about me...prior to joining the East Rutherford team, I have experience as a Health, Physical Education, and Driver Education teacher, a coach for high school soccer, baseball, and softball programs, and as an Assistant Principal.  My background as an educator and a coach, along with my drive to continuously improve both personally and professionally, puts me in an excellent position to serve the needs of our learners.  I have been blessed with an incredible family, and my wife and I have two beautiful daughters (ages 4 and 1 ½).  They are my world, and they have only strengthened my belief that everything we do as educators must always be in the best interest of our most important stakeholders - the children.

My philosophy of learning is quite simple- it is our role, as educators and leaders, to provide meaningful, authentic, and relevant learning experiences for each and every student.  We must not only focus on academic growth, but the social, emotional, mental, and physical well-being of our children to ensure that they are able to develop the skills needed to make valuable contributions to our community and the greater society.  My role in this district is to support students, families, and teachers alike, with regards to the development and implementation of these high quality learning opportunities.

As we move forward, I look forward to opportunities to engage with the entire East Rutherford community.  There is a great sense of collaboration and communication between all stakeholders in this district, and I am excited to contribute to that culture.  At the end of the day, we are all here with the best interests of each and every student in mind.  Please know that I am here for your support, and please feel free to reach out if there is anything you believe that I can help you with!
